Shim for Hinged Oil Filters.

Replacement of the infamous $2,000 "white" O-Ring is highly recommended. OF-Oring098. If oil pressure is lost between the cover and the canister lip, catastrophic engine failure can occur.

Shim(s) is required to provides additional O-ring pressure. If there is insufficient compression from the cover upon the o-ring, oil pressure is lost (oil leak) and catastrophic engine failure may occur.
