Application Table

Poor running can be attributed to bad choke gaskets as the gaskets have a tendency to get sucked in at the rounded tip (often visible without even removing the carburetor). When the gasket has failed, you can look at the inboard side of the carburetor and see daylight beneath the choke housing. When this happens, unmetered and unfiltered air enters the carburetor resultant poor starting and a poor idling.
