Upgraded Viton Output Shaft Oil Seal on Paralever Models.

NOTE: The seal provided by BMW can lead to leaks if not correctly installed. We therefore provide a seal with a TRIPLE LIP seal for the ultimate solution

SPECIAL NOTE: Install the seal with the spring inside the gearbox. No sealant is required on the outside circumference of the seal if the casing is clean and unblemished. The Viton seal is pre-lubricated on the surface that contacts the rotating flange. Ensure that the rotating flange is clean and dry.

Special BMW Service Information: Pull the flange off the gearbox output shaft and remove the old seal. Seal the notch hole at the 12 o'clock position with a suitable sealant such as DriBond and install the new seal.
