Brake Master Cylinder - 14mm for Rear Brakes.
The cylinder was originally a 15mm bore however BMW retrospectively superseded this with the 14mm.cylinder. The rider will hardly notice the difference - the brake lever has slightly more travel and the brakes are slightly more powerful.
When bleeding this master cylinder, please
Check all the pipes
are not perished internally, bleed the cylinder through before attaching
the exit pipe (just use your finger as a valve on the outlet) . Then attach the
pipes to the caliper and bleed them though , and then attach the caliper and
bleed that through. You may also need
BMCCover040 to do the job.
