NOTE: These alternators are not always provided with the solid pulley from Bosch. In these cases you must reuse your old Bosch or Denso 67mm pulley.


Will also retrofit earlier K models with 32 amp alternator (BMW # 12 31 2 305 316). The retrofit will require the following components available on our website for a proper installation:

  • rubber drive dogs BMW-ALTK877 (3 piece set BMW # 12 31 1 464 877)
  • alternator clutch housing BMW-ALTK329 (BMW # 12 31 2 305 329)
  • driving dog BMW-ALTK304 (BMW # 12 31 1 460 304)
  • coolant expansion tank reservoir BMW-ResK650 (17 11 1 464 650) (currently unavailable)
